I will discuss the status of ATLAS software and computing. In particular I will focus on the means of maintaining, upgrading, and deploying the ATLAS software suite, and how its technical performance is measured and how it therefore informs our design choices. I will also detail how the recent change in our underlying software support infrastructure to the use common tools such as CMake, GIT and Jenkins helps new collaborators join the ATLAS software project. I will also briefly discuss the challenges ahead, with a particular focus on the development of multi-threaded CPU workflows.
